How to teach the Pak salto on uneven bars

description

The Pak salto has become a key element in teaching high performance gymnastics on uneven bars.

Whether you're a participant or a spectator, this movement elicits emotion. It allows for smooth bar changes and multiple possibilities for combinations that often mean an increased starting value.

Its most unique point: this inversion with a momentary loss of visual contact. You need to find the right amount of rotation and amplitude to be sure of an effective catch of the low bar.

In this training we present to you the technique for the movement so that you can familiarize yourself with each of its key phases.

Then we introduce you to the various teaching strategies plus all of the drills needed to teach it to your gymnasts.

We hope you enjoy the training.
