In this new training, (re)discover the spotting techniques for 34 technical elements divided into six categories:
The first video deals with elements on low bar. It shows some of the techniques needed to support gymnasts effectively in basic elements like a kip or back hip circle.
The second video deals with clear hip circles: from clear hip circles to handstand to Stalder with legs together, see how to help your gymnasts to move through successive stages toward more difficult skills.
The third video invites you into the world of bar changes. Here we'll be looking at techniques to spot skills that seem difficult to follow. With a little work, they'll seem more accessible to you.
The fourth video goes through the different spotting techniques needed for forward and backward giants on high bar.
Then we'll tackle the chapter on releases – take a tour of the techniques needed to support your gymnasts in Jaegers (piked, straight, or with a twist), Gienger, Tkatchev and finally, a release that's become popular: the Hindorf.
To conclude this training, we will tackle spotting techniques for various dismounts.
Enjoy the exploration and the training!
